Natural Facial Rejuvenation/Facelift Massage
Four Days Training
Natural Facial Rejuvenation – also known as Facelift massage is a deeply relaxing, non-invasive treatment based on ancient Ayurvedic techniques and performed without oils or creams. Around 1hr in duration the treatment begins with relaxation and energy balancing techniques to detect areas of tension in the face and neck and encourage letting go of habitual facial expressions.
The session continues using three specialised lifting techniques – using only your fingers to smooth and iron out fine lines and wrinkles. Deeper techniques are used to release restrictions in the connective tissue of the dermis and lift the underlying facial muscles.
Circulation and elimination are improved and the tissues become more mobile. The treatment finishes with lymphatic drainage, head massage and grounding techniques. Although a difference can be seen after just one treatment the effects are cumulative and work best over a course of 6 treatments. This wonderfully relaxing treatment may help lessen wrinkles and expression lines, tighten facial contours, tone and improve the complexion, releases stress and tension in surrounding muscles and stress-related symptoms. Aftercare advice will include specific facial exercises to tone the facial muscles and maintain the benefits of the treatment.
Training overview.
This four-day comprehensive course provides students with the opportunity to achieve a professional standard of competence in the art of Natural Facelift Massage and promotes the confidence needed to work effectively with clients.
The 4-day training is structured into eight distinct phases, working each side of the face and neck systematically, with detailed instructions and demonstrations for each stage. New massage skills are taught on each of the first three days, plus time to refine and consolidate techniques on fourth day. Theory includes treatment background, benefits, contraindications, skin care, facial exercises and study of the relevant anatomy
Classes are kept small to ensure you are guided through each stage of the techniques. Students also have an opportunity to carry out the massage techniques on the course tutor who can give valuable feedback to ensure competence.
Every attendee will receive a Certificate of Attendance from LCICI UK.
