Ayurvedic Kansa Wand Facelift Massage Training
2 day Training

What is Ayurvedic Kansa Wand Facelift Massage?

Created by The London Centre of Indian Champissage,- Ayurvedic Training Centre UK. This one hour modality integrates a massage of the facial Marma Points (Ayurvedic acupressure points) and a Kansa Wand massage using nourishing oils.

Kansa is Sanskrit for Bronze, an alloy metal formed from copper and tin. Kansa is known as the ‘healing metal’  in Ayurvedia.  The wand can move deeply into and underneath the contours of your face and around the brow line, jawline and neck, focusing on 12 marma points to release tension and relax habitual expressions. Kansa has been used in Ayurvedic treatments for thousands of years but in recent years it has been used to create massage tools for use on the face and body.

Kansa Wand Facelift Massage was developed by LCIC to address current day concerns to look youthful and healthy without invasive interventions.  Kansa Wand Facelift  Massage can help lift and tone facial muscles, soften features and keep you looking radiant and healthy with renewed blood and oxygen supply to the face. Kneading facial skin and muscles brings nutrients to the treated area, helping the collagen and elastin fibres retain their elasticity, while stimulating facial marmas can help release energy blockages.

As well as being extremely relaxing, the treatment can help minimise fine lines and wrinkles, tighten facial contours, reduce dark circle and puffiness under the eyes, improve blood and lymph circulation and increase oxygen supply to skin and muscle cells. Other benefits reported by clients include improved sense of smell, clearer sinuses, relief from headaches and jaw tension and improved sleep.

Kansa face massage also facilitates lymphatic drainage while improving the tone and texture of the skin. Most importantly, Kansa wand face massage boosts the immune system by its stress releasing activity, pacifying the mind as well as the body.

Kansa Wand Face Massage can be used as a stand alone modality, integrated into a full body massage routine or combined with any other treatment. The wand is easy to use on yourself as part of a daily self-care routine.
